As opportunity opens its doors and promise to those of us seeking knowledge, success and prosperity, The Kuwait Cultural Office staff and I are truly delighted to welcome all of our students and their respective families.
In recent years, the exceptional high success rate of our proactive Kuwaiti students has created an influx of prospective students to the UK. This coupled with the fact my team and I, are continually seeking ways to advance our services, and has led to several changes that I am proud to announce.
Perhaps the most notable change that I have put in place to tackle the consistently growing demand, is expanding the number of staff. The number of academic advisors has been quadrupled in order to efficiently oversee all of our students. This includes the introduction of English Language team devoted in assisting all our language students, and also Student Support Centre, a call centre dedicated to providing our students with a world-class telephone service to help answer their questions. On the other hand, Team Leaders have been appointed to each respective department to ensure that duties are delegated and overseen, which ultimately have resulted in applications being processed at a much faster rate.
This new staffing structure rewards members of staff that achieve their service targets, which is monitored by our improved Human Resources department’’
As a result our vision to elevate the standard level of education our students receive, as well as the brilliant work my staff have done in building relationships with education institutions throughout the UK, our University Guide catalogue now boasts handpicked courses from the UK’s leading Universities.
To ease access students can now register and submit all college and university offers through our interactive online Offer Approval system, which has been created by our team of programmers in a department I have prioritized in terms of development and modernization. Another outcome of this department is the Student Gateway (E-Services), which I introduced as a convenient approach to answer all of our students’ concerns and queries as well as serving both sponsors and parents in monitoring progress. Furthermore, graduates can now submit their certification and equivalency requests at a press of a button.
On behalf of the Kuwait Cultural Office team, I sincerely hope that we will exceed all expectations and continue to meet the needs of our students of today, and the future.
The Head of Office
