Dear students, 

We would like to bring to your attention an important matter regarding your September and October 2025 allowance, in accordance with MOHE Rules and Regulations 25. Nine.

 

As you are currently repeating the academic year, we understand that some of you have received their results, while others are still awaiting their end-of-year results.

 

Students with confirmations that they will be repeating in 25/26 are downgraded.

1. External repeaters without attendance: July and August 2025 allowances will be deducted, amount= £5,700 for normal and £8,550 for distinguished students
2. Internal repeaters with attendance will receive 75% of their allowances in September, according to the following table: 

 

Deductions plan for Distinguished Students: 

 

Students who received distinguished allowances in 24/25 have deductions due of £4,275 + £4,275 = £8,550 (Summer Allowance).

 

Students will repay the deductions over a 12-month period to recover the full summer allowances they received in the failed year. This means they will receive a monthly allowance of £2,137.50

Students who failed 24/25 have deductions due of £2,850 + £2,850 = £5,700 (Summer Allowance).

 

Students will repay deductions over an 8-month period to recover the full summer allowances received in the failed year, resulting in a monthly allowance of £2,137.50, as shown in the table below:

We understand that some students are still awaiting their results. Kindly note that your September allowance has been paid in full, and your October allowance will also be paid in full if your results are still pending. Once we receive confirmation that you are repeating the year, deductions will be applied according to the tables above, including an additional deduction for one extra month.

 

We strongly encourage you to remain in close contact with your academic advisor and to monitor your final results from the university.

 

Kindly note that allowances are paid one month in advance.
