The Kuwait Cultural Office is proud to highlight the sporting achievement of Ms Amnah Sayedqasem, a Pharmacy student at the University of Strathclyde.

Ms Sayedqasem was elected Inclusion Officer on the University of Strathclyde Sports Student Committee, where she actively promotes inclusion across the university’s sporting community.

As an active member of the University’s Canoe Club, she represented the University of Strathclyde in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Wild Water Race, contributing to the University achieving third place overall among UK universities. She has also competed in the Edinburgh Canal Festival Canoe Polo Tournament and other inter-university canoe polo competitions.

In addition to her sporting achievements, Ms Sayedqasem holds a White Water Safety Certificate awarded by Paddle Scotland.
