إعلان لطلبة الطب البشري وطب الأسنان بشأن متطلبات الامتحان الكويتي للترخيص لمزاولة المهنة

يبدأ العمل بهذه المتطلبات اعتباراً من 1 يناير 2027

يود المكتب الثقافي الكويتي في لندن إحاطة جميع الطلبة الكويتيين الدارسين والمبتعثين في تخصصي الطب البشري وطب الأسنان علماً بصدور متطلبات جديدة من وزارة الصحة بدولة الكويت / معهد الكويت للاختصاصات الطبية (KIMS) بشأن اجتياز الامتحان الكويتي للترخيص لمزاولة المهنة لخريجي الطب البشري وطب الأسنان، على أن يبدأ تطبيق هذا الاشتراط اعتباراً من 1 يناير 2027

وعليه، يرجى من جميع الطلبة أخذ المتطلبات التالية بعين الاعتبار:

أولاً: خريجو الطب البشري — Medicine

— يشترط اجتياز الامتحان الكويتي للترخيص لمزاولة مهنة الطب البشري

Kuwait Medical Licensing Examination (KMLE)

ويُعد اجتيازه أحد متطلبات التعيين على وظيفة طبيب مقيم / مساعد مسجل بشري اعتباراً من 1 يناير 2027

يتكون امتحان KMLE من 100 سؤال موزعة على النحو الآتي:

الجراحة العامة (General Surgery)	40%
الباطنية (Internal Medicine)	40%
طب الأطفال (Paediatrics)	10%
النساء والولادة (Obstetrics & Gynaecology)	10%

على أن يتضمن الامتحان أسئلة تتعلق بأخلاقيات المهنة في كل تخصص وتحدد درجة النجاح بـ 60 من 100

ثانياً: خريجو طب الأسنان — Dentistry

— يشترط اجتياز الامتحان الكويتي للترخيص لمزاولة مهنة طب الأسنان

Kuwait Dental Licensing Examination (KDLE)

ويُعد اجتيازه أحد متطلبات التعيين على وظيفة طبيب مقيم / مساعد مسجل أسنان اعتباراً من 1 يناير 2027

يتضمن امتحان KDLE مايلي:

طب الأسنان الإكلينيكي (Clinical Dentistry)	70%
العلوم الطبية الأساسية والممارسة المهنية (Foundational Medical Sciences & Professional Practice)	30%

كما تقرر إعفاء الطبيب البشري وطبيب الأسنان من شرط اجتياز الامتحان الشامل لسنة الامتياز عند الترقية من وظيفة طبيب مقيم إلى طبيب مساعد مسجل، متى ما اجتاز الامتحان الكويتي للترخيص لمزاولة المهنة بحسب الأحوال (KMLE/KDLE)

كما يود المكتب الثقافي إحاطة جميع طلبة الطب البشري وطب الأسنان، وبالأخص المتوقع تخرجهم خلال الفترة المقبلة، بضرورة الاطلاع على هذه المتطلبات والاستعداد لها مبكراً، مع مراعاة أنها ستدخل حيز التطبيق اعتباراً من 1 يناير 2027

Notice to Students of Medicine and Dentistry

New Kuwait Professional Licensing Examination Requirements

These requirements take effect from 1 January 2027

The Kuwait Cultural Office in London wishes to inform all Kuwaiti students studying or sponsored in Medicine and Dentistry of new requirements issued by the Kuwait Ministry of Health / Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations (KIMS) concerning the Kuwaiti professional licensing examinations for medical and dental graduates. The requirement will take effect from 1 January 2027.

Students are requested to take note of the following:

Medicine Graduates

Medicine graduates will be required to pass the Kuwait Medical Licensing Examination (KMLE). From 1 January 2027, passing the examination will form part of the requirements for appointment as a resident doctor / assistant registrar.

The KMLE consists of 100 questions distributed as follows:

General Surgery	40%
Internal Medicine	40%
Paediatrics	10%
Obstetrics and Gynaecology	10%

Provided that the examination includes questions related to professional ethics in each specialty, with the passing mark set at 60 out of 100.

Dentistry Graduates

Dentistry graduates will be required to pass the Kuwait Dental Licensing Examination (KDLE). From 1 January 2027, passing the examination will form part of the requirements for appointment as resident dentist / assistant registrar. The KDLE examination covers:

It has also been decided to exempt medical doctors and dentists from the requirement to pass the Comprehensive Internship Examination when being promoted from Resident Doctor to Assistant Registrar, provided that they have successfully passed the Kuwait Medical Licensing Examination (KMLE) or the Kuwait Dental Licensing Examination (KDLE), as applicable.

All Medicine and Dentistry students, particularly those approaching graduation, are strongly advised to familiarise themselves with these requirements and prepare accordingly. Students should note that the new requirement will apply from 1 January 2027.
