The Kuwait Cultural Office is proud to congratulate the outstanding achievement of Ms. Wadhhah Aldehani, a PhD student at the University of Dundee, whose research has been accepted for poster presentation at the World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB) 2025 in Japan, the leading international conference in the field of medical ultrasound.

WFUMB is one of the most competitive and prestigious platforms worldwide, with abstract acceptance rates below 50%. Being selected is a testament to the high quality and impact of Ms. Aldehani’s research.

Her study introduces the use of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as a novel breast elastography phantom to enhance the reproducibility and accuracy of shear wave Elastography (SWE) in breast cancer diagnosis.

Through this achievement, she will:

• Share her findings with international experts in ultrasound imaging.
• Gain valuable insights into the latest advances in Elastography.
