The Kuwait Cultural Office is proud to recognise the outstanding accomplishment of

Mr. Mohammad Al-Qattan, who was awarded First Place Best Presentation at the University of Cambridge’s Engineering for Sustainable Development Dissertations Conference earlier this month.

The award ceremony took place at the historic Clare College Formal Hall, where the recognition was presented by Professor Eduardo Borgomeo and Professor Dai Morgan, both distinguished global academics.

Mr. Al-Qattan’s dissertation, titled “Steel Recycling in GCC Construction: Evaluating Kuwait’s Feasibility as a Regional Hub,” reflects a commitment to aligning academic research with the vision of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who affirmed that Vision 2035 aims to transform Kuwait into a regional and global trade and financial hub, while continuing its sustainable development efforts.
