Congratulations Mr. Hamad AlObaidli
The Kuwait Cultural Office is proud to recognise the academic achievement of Mr. Hamad AlObaidli, Master’s student at the University of Strathclyde, who successfully completed his graduation project/dissertation titled:
“The Role of Endothelin Receptors in the Novel Pathway of MARCKS and PIP2 Complex-Mediated Vasoconstriction in Guinea Pig Pulmonary Artery.”
Through extensive laboratory research and testing, Mr. AlObaidli and his team observed results that suggest a potential novel pathway which could be further investigated for the development of drugs targeting pulmonary artery hypertension.
Additionally, Mr. AlObaidli, alongside his supervisor Dr. Yousif Shamsaldeen, presented preliminary findings at the British Pharmacological Society Conference 2024 in Harrogate under the title:
“MARCKS-PIP2: A Potential Novel Pathway for Understanding Pulmonary Artery Hypertension.”
Publication No. 32
This achievement highlights Mr. AlObaidli’s dedication to impactful pharmacological research and his contribution to advancing knowledge in cardiovascular medicine.
Congratulations and best wishes towards more success.
