Kuwait Cultural Office is proud to highlight the academic contribution of Ms Anfal Almesbah, PhD researcher at the University of Leeds.

Ms Anfal Almesbah recently served as a co-chair of the organising committee for the 18th Research Students’ Education Conference (RSEC18), held on 3 July 2025 at the University of Leeds.

RSEC18 is a PhD student-led and student-focused conference organised by the School of Education, bringing together postgraduate researchers from across the UK. This year’s theme, “Exploring Complexity in Research,” offered a valuable platform for scholarly dialogue, interdisciplinary exploration, and meaningful engagement with contemporary issues in educational research.

In her role as co-chair, Ms Almesbah contributed significantly to the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of the conference, an enriching experience that supported collaboration and knowledge exchange among emerging scholars.
