The Kuwait Cultural Office is proud to highlight the outstanding academic achievement of Ms Eman Mshari, PhD candidate in Pharmacology and Pharmacy at King’s College London.

Ms Mshari’s PhD research was awarded the Brian Widdop Award 2025 at the London Toxicology Group Conference, following her oral presentation titled:

“Can Getting High Get You High? Stress and the Mobilisation of Fat-Stored Δ⁹-THC”

In addition, she has published two research papers as part of her academic work:

– Drug poisonings following bariatric surgery: Case series report
– Safety concerns reported by coroners following fentanyl patch fatalities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland between 1997 and 2024

These accomplishments reflect Ms Mshari’s dedication to impactful research and her valuable contribution to the fields of pharmacology and public health.
