Congratulations Mr Mohammad Khalfan

The Kuwait Cultural Office is proud to highlight the exceptional academic achievements of Mr Mohammad Khalfan, a dentistry student at the University of Glasgow.

Throughout his BDS programme, Mr Khalfan has received multiple prestigious awards and recognitions at both university and national levels. Notably, he was a finalist for the Faculty of Dental Surgery (FDS) Undergraduate Award (2023) in recognition of his leadership and volunteering efforts, including his role as President of the Kuwait Dental Student Association in the UK.

His accomplishments include:

  • British Dental Students’ Association Summit Research Awards (2026) – 4th place nationally
  • British Society of Restorative Dentistry Rising Star Award (2025) – Highly Commended
  • Association of British Academic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Prize (2025) – University of Glasgow Winner
  • British Association of Oral Surgeons Essay Prize (2026) – Certificate of Merit
  • University of Glasgow Undergraduate Skills Prize (2025)
  • Manchester Undergraduate Dental Research Society Awards (2025 & 2026) for clinical and poster presentations

Mr Khalfan has also contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and academic articles, including research on innovative dental technologies such as PerioPal, an AI-powered tool designed to enhance periodontal patient education.

These achievements reflect his strong commitment to clinical excellence, research innovation, and leadership within the dental field.

The Kuwait Cultural Office congratulates Mr Mohammad Khalfan on his outstanding accomplishments and wishes him continued success in his academic and professional journey.
