The Kuwait Cultural Office is proud to highlight the academic achievement of Mr Husain Ibrahim, PhD student in Civil Engineering at Imperial College London.

Mr Ibrahim was selected for the Excellent Research Poster Award at the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department conference. His research, titled:

“Carbon extraction from end-of-life tyres for global warming control” focuses on transforming waste tyres into innovative materials for carbon capture technologies.

Competing against a wide range of projects across the department, this recognition reflects the significance and impact of his work in environmental engineering and sustainability.
