Students Achievements

Achievement: Ms. Bouyabs presented two academic research posters at the University of East Anglia CPP Research Day: “Dual Antagonism for P2X4 and P2X7 Receptors: A Novel Strategy for Inflammation and Pain”.

Achievement: Mr. Thamer Alobaid contributions are substantial and have been published in Q1 and Q2 journals, including BMC Nephrology, Diabetic Medicine, Journal of Diabetes Research, and BMJ Open.

Achievement: Ms. Fatemah Aladwani, a PhD student at the University of Dundee, whose research has been accepted for oral presentation at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2025

Achievement: During her PhD studies in the UK, Ms. Alosaimi has: Published three scientific papers. Been selected by her School to present her research via a poster. Been featured on the Loughborough CLiMB website to showcase her PhD research (link here). All her papers were also accepted for poster presentations at the International Society for Physical Activity and Health Congress (ISPAH), held in Abu Dhabi (2023) and Paris (2024).

Achievement: Colonel Khaled Alsumait, was awarded the People’s Choice Award for Best Presentation at the 6th Annual Postgraduate Law Conference held at the University of Strathclyde on 25 June 2024.

Achievement: Mr. Mohammad Al-Qattan, who was awarded First Place Best Presentation at the University of Cambridge’s Engineering for Sustainable Development Dissertations Conference earlier this month.

Achievement: Ms. Fatemah Aladwani, a PhD student at the University of Dundee, whose research has been accepted for oral presentation at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2025

Achievement: Ms. Alnoumas conducted her research at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, presenting her thesis: “Integrating Metabolomics and Biomolecular Landscapes of Breast Cancer Cells in Response to Olaparib and Capecitabine: Toward Confident Feature Annotation.“

Achievement: Outstanding academic participation at the 15th Annual Gulf Research Meeting held at the University of Cambridge.

She presented her study: “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Legal Translation and Protection Against Hybrid Threats Case Study: Ministry of Interior, Kuwait.“

Achievement: Outstanding academic participation at the 15th Annual Gulf Research Meeting held at the University of Cambridge. Mr. Mulla Ali attended the conference and delivered an oral presentation of his research during Workshop 12. His journal article will also be published in the Cambridge Research Meeting Proceedings.

Achievement: Being awarded the prestigious Christopher J. Hewitt Prize in recognition of her outstanding academic excellence. This esteemed award reflects Ms. Alenezi’s dedication to the field of pharmacokinetics and her meaningful contributions to the academic community.

Achievement: Publication of two significant research papers: "Failure Investigation of Hybrid Double-Lap Shear Bolted Connections with Additively Manufactured 316L Stainless Steel Inner Plates" "Machine Learning Models to Predict the Static Failure of Double-Lap Shear Bolted Connections".

Achievement: Publication of her research paper titled "On the Asymptotic Enumeration and Limit Shapes of Monotone Grid Classes of Permutations" and receiving Second Prize an honour that reflects her dedication and academic excellence.

Achievement: Publication of her research paper titled "Knowledge Sharing Maturity Model for Medical Imaging Departments: Development Study".

Achievement: Mr. Mohammad Alhussan, one of our PhD students at University College London's Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering on receiving the Best Demonstration Award at the 21st International Conference on Embedded Wireless Systems and Networks (EWSN 2024), held in Abu Dhabi in December 2024.

Achievement: Received the Early Researchers Programme E-Poster Award at the Lisbon Addictions Conference—Europe's largest event dedicated to addictive behaviours and dependencies.

Achievement: Received the award for Best Scientific Presentation at The Nutrition Society Conference, which took place with researchers from various UK universities.

Achievement: Published groundbreaking research papers on 'Stability and equivariant Gromov–Hausdorff convergence' and 'Stability and finiteness theorems for Wasserstein spaces', and earned a prestigious fellowship from Bonn University.

Achievement: Outstanding academic achievement in research related to academic field.

Achievement: Incredible achievement in publishing her research that won the prize ( International Award) for the best second research in "Prosthetic Dentistry" 2021

Achievement: Outstanding contributions and academic excellence in master's studies.

Achievement: Gold medal at the 12th International Inventions Fair in the Middle East, which was organized recently in collaboration with Geneva International Fair.

Achievement: Mr. Salem was awarded the inaugural NSK Handpiece Prize at King’s College London for his outstanding performance in the phantom head crown preparation assessment.

Achievement: Ms. Zeinah Faras, MSc graduate in Mechanical Engineering with Innovation and Entrepreneurship from University College London (UCL).

Achievement: Ms. Abdulredha published her book in Arabic titled التغذية من زاوية مختلفة (Nutrition from a Different Perspective). The work presents the fundamentals of nutrition in a simplified and engaging manner.

Achievement: Ms. Almusallam received two distinguished honours: Graduation from the International Foundation in Science and Engineering. The Merit Award for being the top student of her entire course.

Achievement: Mr. Abdullah Alibrahim has being awarded the EBS Dean’s Prize for the Best Postgraduate Dissertation of the Year.

Achievement: Ms. Jumana Ashkanani master’s dissertation research has been published in the June 2025 issue of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) journal

Achievement: Ms. Munirah Alzafiri invited to present her research at the XIX International Conference on Pharmacy and Pharmacology (ICPP 2025).

Achievement: Mr.Hamad AlObaidli completed his graduation project/dissertation titled: “The Role of Endothelin Receptors in the Novel Pathway of MARCKS and PIP2 Complex-Mediated Vasoconstriction in Guinea Pig Pulmonary Artery.”

Achievement: Ms.Awrad Alsawagh presented a research poster on the impact of social media on mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Achievement: Ms. Muneera Alshammari Received “The Rosemont Student of the Year Award” from the University of Bradford.

Achievement: Received the School of Medicine Medal for Excellence (awarded to the most distinguished student over the five years of the MBChB Programme) and the James Matthews Duncan Medal (awarded to the student with the highest distinction in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinical Practice).

Achievement: Ms. Qamar Alqllaf has successfully completed her dissertation titled: “Enhancing Children’s Knowledge on Medicine through Laboratory Education.”

Achievement: Mr.Abdulaziz Alshammari has been recognised for his outstanding work in Mathematics, supported by the Kaplan Foundation at Liverpool.

Achievement: Earned Joint Second Place at the Manchester Undergraduate Dental Research Society Conference for presenting one of his clinical cases. We also commend his achievement last year, when he was a finalist for the FDS Award Prize by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Achievement: Received the Most Influential Student Award at Bristol University for publishing educational and guidance books for scholarship students facing cultural and social challenges.

Mr. Almuhanna was honored by His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the United Kingdom, Mr. Bader Al-Awadhi, and the Head of the Cultural Office, Dr. Abdullah Al-Meshaal.

Achievement: Outstanding academic performance and achievements in undergraduate studies.
