Students Achievements

Achievement: Mr. Bader recently presented his research at The World Conference on Business, Management, and Economics in Berlin, Germany, contributing to the international academic dialogue in finance and management.

Achievement: Mr. Khaled has published a paper in the Q1 journal Buildings titled: “Critical Success Factors of Water and Power Public–Private Partnerships in Developing Countries: A Systematic Review.”

Achievement: In July 2024, Mr. Meshari presented his PhD research at the R&D Management Conference 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden, contributing to the global academic dialogue on development policy and management.

Achievement: Ms. Shaima N. Alhaddad, a PhD student in Biological Sciences at the University of Reading. Her research has been published in leading scientific journals.

Achievement: Mr. Anwar achieved several key milestones, including the acceptance and presentation of his first research paper at the 2025 Annual Scottish Doctoral Colloquium in Accounting and Finance held in Dundee.

Achievement: Dr. Alothman published six original research articles as the first author in prestigious medical journals, including The Lancet and JAMA Neurology.

Achievement: Dr. Mansouri has published in leading journals such as The Lancet eClinicalMedicine and BMJ Open, and was a Clinton Global Initiative University fellow.

Achievement: Dr. Haleema AlFailakawi, was selected among the top five presenters in the Three Minute Thesis competition at the University of Sheffield.

Achievement: Recent publication by Mr. Talal Mulla Ali, PhD student at Brunel University London. His journal article, titled “How is the Use of AI in Social Media Accepted by Users and Impacting Human–Computer Interfacing in That Area?”

Achievement: Mr. Saud Al-Qabandi presented his research poster at the British Liquid Crystal Society Annual Meeting on 8 April 2025.

Achievement: Ms. Moudhi Aman published her paper: “Leadership Competencies and Behaviours in Pharmacy: A Qualitative Content Analysis” in Research in Social and Administrative Pharmacy, a top Q1 journal in the field.

Achievement: Colonel Mahmoud Altararwa presented at the University of Hull Postgraduate Conference (May 2024). Attended major international events including Fintech Week London (2024), the AI Event in Paris (2025), the UK Department of Commerce Forum (2025), and the LCIA International Arbitration Symposium in London (2025).

Achievement: Mr. Mohammad Alhussan, PhD candidate in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University College London (UCL), on receiving the prestigious and highly competitive EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) 2022–27 funding.

Achievement: Ms. Bouyabs presented two academic research posters at the University of East Anglia CPP Research Day: “Dual Antagonism for P2X4 and P2X7 Receptors: A Novel Strategy for Inflammation and Pain”.

Achievement: Mr. Thamer Alobaid contributions are substantial and have been published in Q1 and Q2 journals, including BMC Nephrology, Diabetic Medicine, Journal of Diabetes Research, and BMJ Open.

Achievement: Ms. Fatemah Aladwani, a PhD student at the University of Dundee, whose research has been accepted for oral presentation at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2025

Achievement: During her PhD studies in the UK, Ms. Alosaimi has: Published three scientific papers. Been selected by her School to present her research via a poster. Been featured on the Loughborough CLiMB website to showcase her PhD research (link here). All her papers were also accepted for poster presentations at the International Society for Physical Activity and Health Congress (ISPAH), held in Abu Dhabi (2023) and Paris (2024).

Achievement: Colonel Khaled Alsumait, was awarded the People’s Choice Award for Best Presentation at the 6th Annual Postgraduate Law Conference held at the University of Strathclyde on 25 June 2024.

Achievement: Mr. Mohammad Al-Qattan, who was awarded First Place Best Presentation at the University of Cambridge’s Engineering for Sustainable Development Dissertations Conference earlier this month.

Achievement: Ms. Fatemah Aladwani, a PhD student at the University of Dundee, whose research has been accepted for oral presentation at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2025

Achievement: Ms. Alnoumas conducted her research at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences, presenting her thesis: “Integrating Metabolomics and Biomolecular Landscapes of Breast Cancer Cells in Response to Olaparib and Capecitabine: Toward Confident Feature Annotation.“

Achievement: Outstanding academic participation at the 15th Annual Gulf Research Meeting held at the University of Cambridge.

She presented her study: “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Legal Translation and Protection Against Hybrid Threats Case Study: Ministry of Interior, Kuwait.“

Achievement: Outstanding academic participation at the 15th Annual Gulf Research Meeting held at the University of Cambridge. Mr. Mulla Ali attended the conference and delivered an oral presentation of his research during Workshop 12. His journal article will also be published in the Cambridge Research Meeting Proceedings.

Achievement: Being awarded the prestigious Christopher J. Hewitt Prize in recognition of her outstanding academic excellence. This esteemed award reflects Ms. Alenezi’s dedication to the field of pharmacokinetics and her meaningful contributions to the academic community.

Achievement: Publication of two significant research papers: "Failure Investigation of Hybrid Double-Lap Shear Bolted Connections with Additively Manufactured 316L Stainless Steel Inner Plates" "Machine Learning Models to Predict the Static Failure of Double-Lap Shear Bolted Connections".

Achievement: Publication of her research paper titled "On the Asymptotic Enumeration and Limit Shapes of Monotone Grid Classes of Permutations" and receiving Second Prize an honour that reflects her dedication and academic excellence.

Achievement: Publication of her research paper titled "Knowledge Sharing Maturity Model for Medical Imaging Departments: Development Study".

Achievement: Mr. Mohammad Alhussan, one of our PhD students at University College London's Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering on receiving the Best Demonstration Award at the 21st International Conference on Embedded Wireless Systems and Networks (EWSN 2024), held in Abu Dhabi in December 2024.

Achievement: Received the Early Researchers Programme E-Poster Award at the Lisbon Addictions Conference—Europe's largest event dedicated to addictive behaviours and dependencies.

Achievement: Received the award for Best Scientific Presentation at The Nutrition Society Conference, which took place with researchers from various UK universities.

Achievement: Published groundbreaking research papers on 'Stability and equivariant Gromov–Hausdorff convergence' and 'Stability and finiteness theorems for Wasserstein spaces', and earned a prestigious fellowship from Bonn University.

Achievement: Gold medal at the 12th International Inventions Fair in the Middle East, which was organized recently in collaboration with Geneva International Fair.

Achievement: Sarah Alenezi, a Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) student at University College London (UCL), for receiving the Dean’s Research Prize in recognition of her outstanding research project.

Achievement: Esraa Alhammadi, MPharm Pharmacy student at the University of Portsmouth, who has been honoured with the College Director Award.

Achievement: Ms. Fatimah Almusa has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to community building during her studies in Glasgow. In June 2024, she founded the Glasgow Khaleeji Society to create a supportive environment for Khaleeji students.

Achievement: Ms. Raghad Almashmoum, who recently graduated from the University of Bristol with First Class Honours in History.

Achievement: Mr. Abdullatif Altabtabaei, who recently presented his master’s research at Imperial College London.

Achievement: Mr. Mohammad S. Aldaihani, Master’s student at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), on winning First Place in the Warba Bank DIFC Digital Innovation Competition (2024).

Achievement: Mr. Salem was awarded the inaugural NSK Handpiece Prize at King’s College London for his outstanding performance in the phantom head crown preparation assessment.

Achievement: Ms. Zeinah Faras, MSc graduate in Mechanical Engineering with Innovation and Entrepreneurship from University College London (UCL).

Achievement: Ms. Abdulredha published her book in Arabic titled التغذية من زاوية مختلفة (Nutrition from a Different Perspective). The work presents the fundamentals of nutrition in a simplified and engaging manner.

Achievement: Ms. Almusallam received two distinguished honours: Graduation from the International Foundation in Science and Engineering. The Merit Award for being the top student of her entire course.

Achievement: Mr. Abdullah Alibrahim has being awarded the EBS Dean’s Prize for the Best Postgraduate Dissertation of the Year.

Achievement: Ms. Jumana Ashkanani master’s dissertation research has been published in the June 2025 issue of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) journal

Achievement: Ms. Munirah Alzafiri invited to present her research at the XIX International Conference on Pharmacy and Pharmacology (ICPP 2025).

Achievement: Mr.Hamad AlObaidli completed his graduation project/dissertation titled: “The Role of Endothelin Receptors in the Novel Pathway of MARCKS and PIP2 Complex-Mediated Vasoconstriction in Guinea Pig Pulmonary Artery.”

Achievement: Ms.Awrad Alsawagh presented a research poster on the impact of social media on mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Achievement: Ms. Muneera Alshammari Received “The Rosemont Student of the Year Award” from the University of Bradford.

Achievement: Received the School of Medicine Medal for Excellence (awarded to the most distinguished student over the five years of the MBChB Programme) and the James Matthews Duncan Medal (awarded to the student with the highest distinction in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinical Practice).

Achievement: Mr. Yousef Alenezi, Civil and Structural Engineering student at the University of Dundee, who has been awarded the Class Prize Level 2 in Civil Engineering during the 2024–2025 Summer Prize Awards.

Achievement: Ms. Fatimah Garashi has distinguished herself through innovation, academic excellence, and community engagement during her studies.

Achievement: Ms. Sara Jafar, Bachelor of Dental Surgery student at Newcastle University, on achieving the highest grade in the BBP Foundation program.

Achievement: Mr. Ahmed Almunifi achieved the highest overall grade in his cohort for the BA Business and Management programme. Awarded 95% on his dissertation – the highest recorded dissertation grade at the University of York this academic year. Recognized with the Top Student Award in his cohort.

Achievement: Ms. Qamar Alqllaf has successfully completed her dissertation titled: “Enhancing Children’s Knowledge on Medicine through Laboratory Education.”

Achievement: Mr.Abdulaziz Alshammari has been recognised for his outstanding work in Mathematics, supported by the Kaplan Foundation at Liverpool.

Achievement: Earned Joint Second Place at the Manchester Undergraduate Dental Research Society Conference for presenting one of his clinical cases. We also commend his achievement last year, when he was a finalist for the FDS Award Prize by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Achievement: Received the Most Influential Student Award at Bristol University for publishing educational and guidance books for scholarship students facing cultural and social challenges.

Mr. Almuhanna was honored by His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the United Kingdom, Mr. Bader Al-Awadhi, and the Head of the Cultural Office, Dr. Abdullah Al-Meshaal.
